Santa Clara, California 29th May, 2019 – Today, at the 10th edition of the Augmented World Expo (AWE) in California, rewellio announces the launch of its first virtual reality (VR) module for the all new Oculus Quest headset. Rewellio’s mission for stroke patients is to enable more and better therapy time while building its software and app on easily accessible, affordable and powerful consumer electronics such as tablets and VR devices. The truly mobile and sensor packed Oculus Quest with a price tag of USD 399 certainly meets these criteria, which is why we are so excited about this launch.
“We have long been anticipating the market entry of the Oculus Quest as it fits our criteria so well” says Georg Teufl, CEO and founder of rewellio. “Our patients and therapists need simple to use devices, not having to worry about the technical setup, especially when used independently at home. This VR headset can be used as easily as a tablet: you turn it on, you launch the app and off you go with your exercise.”
